This was a really cute little spot to get a quick bite to eat. My bf and I were visiting his cousin for Halloween weekend and we stopped in here for dinner between 6-7 pm. This placed was converted from an Old train station and gives a "Chelsea Market" type vibe in regards to having a few different food options available (e.g. desserts, sandwich es, pizza, burgers etc.). There's seating on both ends of the "station." I unfortunately forgot the name of the placed we ordered from specially and it didn't say on the receipt either, but it was one of the burger places. I got an Adobo chicken sandwich which was very nice and crispy with plenty of sauce, only slight downside was that the sauce tasted a tad on the salty side (I could taste some flavor of sweetness like terriyaki). My bf got their smash burger and he said it was really good. Turned one of the dishes into a combo and they gave us a good amount of fries to share between two people. Stopped in with my kids to grab a beer and kill some time. We had fun and the brews/service were on point. We had a ton of skate gear with us and it wasn't an issue to take in and stow.

Add this to your Sanford Ave pub crawl. The drinks are fun and the atmosphere is on point. Downtown Sanford is eclectic and reach place is a different vibe. Stop in here to play a free arcade games and enjoy great libations.

Welcome to Throwbacks Sanford

Located on Sanford Avenue, in the heart of Historic Downtown Sanford, Throwback's is one of the area's most popular bars featuring a great selection of craft beer, liquor, cocktails, wine, shots, food and much more!

Throwback's is a very fun bar featuring free play arcade games, board games, skee ball and even a free photo booth.

You will find weekly open mic night on Monday night, karaoke on Thursday night, DJ's on Wednesday and a great daily happy hour from 4-7pm.

We show all live sports, including all international soccer, and we proudly carry the NFL Sunday Ticket package. 

Come to Throwbacks for live music, a great environment and other fun events every month.

Enjoy our retro interior aesthetic or lounge in our enclosed pet friendly backyard area.
